Four Funerals in One Day

Gippsland Tour, 2009

I think this should be shown in schools (maybe adapted if necessary) but definitely worthwhile.
An extremely touching play that treats a difficult subject with great compassion and respect. Great insights into death from all perspectives.
If this medium (a play) could continue to open up to the audience to assist with unanswered questions regarding death and dying it would be wonderful! There has to be light- heartedness within death and dying because death and dying are part of living!! Well done - great.
Thank you - the whole evening was most informative, easy to follow and plenty to go away with to ponder. Have the play on TV - perhaps Compass.
This play should be seen by the wider community.
Very thought provoking play. Gives insight into patient and healthcare workers' attitudes to death.
A very sensitive expose of a difficult subject and the trials of the patient and the carer. Enlightening and positive.

Four Funerals in One Day

Whitehorse Centre, Victoria - July 2010

Wished I'd brought my teenagers!
Thank you for a most thought provoking session with the interactive and creative context.
Very enjoyable format in which to present a difficult subject. Nice to relax the audience with the play rather than a formal lecture or seminar.
A good play presented in a down to earth way covering many questions and problems. It brought out a lot of answers to questions that are seldom ever considered.
As someone who had the experience of losing my wife a few months ago after seven years with secondary cancer and with the care of Eastern Palliative Care, I found the evening dealt with many of the matters that I faced.

Wicked Widows April 2010
We may not have provided you with your biggest audience but I doubt if you could have one with a more positive response! The feedback has been incredibly encouraging from absolutely everyone, with bookings already for 'Six Degrees' play next month. Best of all were the stories of women determined to return with husband tow!

The play and the forum allowed people to engage in conservation on dying and palliative care. We were able to attract over 900 people in total to attending six play performances. Participant evaluations stated that people were more prepared to talk about death and dying.
